Headteacher's Latest Updates COVID -19
1st April – School is only open to provide childcare for key workers until further notice. Advice from the government and Public Health England is still: 'Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.'
If you are a keyworker and you think you may have to send your child in, you must email the school by 12pm the day before. Please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm this. Please do not send your child into school without prior arrangement. This is important in order to give us time to arrange suitable staffing. Also be aware that you may need to make your own transport arrangements as many of the escorts working on school transport are in the vulnerable adults category.
If your child does not have a work pack please access subject links on the school website via the tab 'Work to be completed at home'. All class/year groups have a range of web links linked to the subjects they are studying including the online platforms they are regularly using when in school. More sites will be added in due course. Parents can also access further sites via the 'Home Schooling Sites' tab. We have also set up a series of subject support email addresses to help students and parents if specific subject support is needed. Please see the News section on this website for the email addresses.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS INFORMATION
If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, a packed lunch can be available for collection from school between 11am-12pm. If you require a FSM packed lunch, please email school the day before at above address. If you live in Runcorn, you will have been contacted by us to arrange a pick up from a school local to you. We are currently setting up the new voucher system and will be in contact shortly with eligible families. Please see the tab above ' Free School Meals Information' for more details.
